MOUNT RNG Rarity and Odds

Why 700+ mounts does not mean you will see 700 silhouettes on starter grass.

Rarity and Odds

MOUNT RNG is an RNG collector. The catalog is large because islands, events, and two-week patches keep adding models. Update 50 advertises more than 700 mounts. That sentence is not a promise that every account sees a billion-to-one on night one. Odds sit on Luck, on the island you unlocked, and on whether you are rolling at all. This page explains how to read rarity without a fake simulator. For keep-versus-sell, use the tier list hub. For showcase names, use exclusive mounts.

Community showcases talk about mounts such as Yoru in the 1-in-billions class. That is a flex, not a plan. You do not “farm Yoru” the way you farm Essence. You stack the layers TaleSun actually publishes, you move the pool with keys, and you accept that most rolls are fuel. The sell guide exists so those fuel rolls still buy the next island.

What rarity is not

Rarity is not a trading-floor price. The game is not a limited-item marketplace. A rare that looks like last month’s event can still be a keeper if you like the idle. A common exclusive from a code can outshine a rolled legendary in the lobby because it is unique to the string. Do not let a color-coded overlay from a script decide your identity mount.

Rarity is also not a hidden multiplier we can invent. This wiki will not ship a drop-rate calculator with made-up billions. The Luck calculator only adds published layers: friends, the +20 bundle, Game Passes, and the potion number you type from the shop.

What actually changes the table

  • Luck: +5 per friend in the same twelve-player server, +20 for like / group / notifications, potions, Stars, +200 and +420 passes. See how to get Luck.
  • Island pool: Autumn Fields through Celestial Peak, plus side spaces and Magma Lair. A better island is often worth more than a third potion on grass. See the map.
  • Codes: skip the table entirely. LESSON5 and CORTISOL are description codes as of v1.50. That is why the Codes Hub is the first session task.
  • Secrets: Azatoth is a badge and pass problem, not an odds problem. Read how to get Azatoth.

A code exclusive and a rolled rare are not the same kind of “rare.” LESSON5 skipping the table does not mean Johnny Joestar is a 1-in-billions model. It means TaleSun handed you a finished silhouette. Rank it on the exclusive mounts page by identity, not by a fake percentage. Rolled names such as Yoru still need the stack above. Mixing those two sentences is how people skip islands and then blame the table.

How to use an extreme showcase

When a clip shows a 1/4.6B intro, treat it as proof the catalog has a ceiling, not as a nightly target. Watch it the way you watch a dragon showcase: to know what “high” looks like, then go back to funding the next key. If you want that visual class, you still do the boring stack. You do not skip the group join because a video made the odds look cinematic.

Session math that stays honest

A long roll window with free Luck off is a worse table than a short window with three friends and the +20 box. A Fast Scroll on a bad island is more animations of the same commons. Stars and Fast Scrolls only pay after the pool and the free stack are right.

If you are unhappy after a funded, stacked hour, the honest read is variance, not a missing secret stat. Open the Guides Hub and pick a job that is not “roll harder.”

Game Pass value if you were about to buy +420 to skip friends. How to play if you have not finished a clean first hour. Latest update if a patch reprint changes the 700+ sentence. Odds are a stack. Stack first. Flex later.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is there an official drop-rate table?

TaleSun publishes Luck layers and island progress, not a public billion-row table. Do not trust invented simulators.

Should I chase Yoru-class odds on night one?

No. Redeem codes, stack free Luck, buy the next island, then roll. Extreme showcases are not a first-hour plan.

Do codes use the same odds as rolls?

No. A working code skips the table and grants a finished exclusive.

Does Fast Scroll improve rarity?

No. It only fits more rolls into a timed Luck window.
