MOUNT RNG Controls

Where the cog, the roll, and the bag live so lava and menus stop eating inputs.

MOUNT RNG Control Map

MOUNT RNG uses a custom HUD on top of normal Roblox movement. The experience is already live, so there is no pre-release control scheme to memorize — only the current lobby. This page is a map of the buttons you will actually hit in a session: move, roll, Settings, inventory, shop, quests. Read how to play for the loop those buttons serve.

Movement

On keyboard, WASD moves and space jumps, like every other Roblox lobby. Shift sprint if the current build allows it. Mouse looks. On mobile, the left virtual stick moves and the jump button sits on the right. The camera is a drag on the empty part of the screen. In Magma Lair that empty part shrinks, which is why landscape helps.

Mounts change your silhouette and sometimes your travel feel, but they do not replace the need to open menus. Equip from inventory after a code or a roll; do not assume a new exclusive auto-equips.

The left Settings cog

The silver gear on the left is TaleSun’s Settings panel. It is not the Roblox escape menu (Esc on PC, the Roblox app button on phone). Scroll that panel to the bottom for Redeem code. The redeem guide is the full click path. If you open the wrong menu you will find Roblox volume and leave-game, not LESSON5.

On mobile, scroll the panel itself. Scrolling the world rotates the camera and makes it look like Settings vanished.

Roll, inventory, shop, quests

The roll control is the large lobby action. Spam it only after Luck is stacked and you have a reason. Inventory / backpack holds mounts, potions, Stars, and Fast Scrolls. Shop sells keys and consumables for Essence. The quest board hands out the loops described on quests. Exact icon art changes with updates; the functions do not. If a two-week patch moves an icon, the latest update is the place we will note it — not a rewritten control bible every fortnight.

PC players can usually click these HUD buttons with the mouse while still steering with WASD. Mobile players should park the stick before opening shop, or they will walk into a wall while buying a key. That sounds obvious until you do it with a 50k Essence purchase.

Camera and showcase

A big part of MOUNT RNG is looking at the mount. Zoom is the Roblox camera wheel or pinch. If a script offers Max Zoom and Fly, that is automation, not a default control — see scripts. For honest screenshots, stand in the lobby or on a new island edge after unlocking, equip the exclusive, and zoom once. You do not need a freecam to enjoy a Battle Bus.

Controllers and split input

Controller support is whatever Roblox provides for movement. The redeem field and some shop text boxes still want a cursor or touch. If a box will not focus, switch to mouse or tap. There is no local split-screen mode. Online play in a twelve-player server is the intended social setup, including the friend Luck stack.

A one-screen checklist

  • Left cog = game Settings and codes.
  • Esc / Roblox button = platform menu.
  • Roll = the session verb.
  • Bag = equip and convert.
  • Shop = keys and potions.
  • Board = Essence on a timer.

When a button is missing, you are either in a loading fade, in a dungeon with a smaller HUD, or in a broken mobile overlay. Relog once before you assume a patch removed shop. Then continue the Guides Hub job you came for — Luck, Essence, islands, or Azatoth — with the HUD actually answering taps.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where is the code box?

Left Settings cog, then scroll to Redeem code. Not inside the Roblox escape menu.

Why can't I tap shop on mobile?

The stick or keyboard is covering the HUD. Park movement, rotate to landscape, then tap.

Does MOUNT RNG have custom keybinds?

Movement uses normal Roblox binds. The important actions are on-screen HUD buttons.

Is there split-screen co-op?

No. Play online in the same server. Friend Luck only works that way.
