How to Sell Mounts in MOUNT RNG

Convert junk, lock keepers, and stop rage-selling the one silhouette you actually like.

How to Sell Mounts

Selling is how MOUNT RNG turns a dry roll night into a key. The shop does not care that you stared at the animation for an hour. It cares that you converted mounts you will not ride into Essence, then spent that Essence on the next island or a potion you actually sit through. This page is the keep-versus-sell rule set. Pair it with how to farm Essence for spend order and the tier list when you cannot name why a silhouette feels important.

The game has been live since 25 August 2024. Update 50 still advertises more than 700 mounts. That number is why inventory fills with near-duplicates. If you keep every uncommon “just in case,” you will never fund Celestial Peak. If you sell everything that is not a code exclusive, you will delete the one rolled mount that made the account yours.

Lock the keeper first

Equip the mount you want people to see in the lobby. That single click is the cheapest insurance in the game. Auto-disenchant hubs and tired thumbs both target whatever is selected or whatever sits at the top of a value sort. The auto farm page already warns that a sell filter cannot read “this is my favorite.” You have to mark it with the equip slot.

Code exclusives from the Codes Hub belong in that same protected set: Johnny from LESSON5, the Update 50 CORTISOL exclusive, and any Battle Bus / cube / Uma Musume string that still pays on your account. Those models skip the roll table. Selling one for a key is how people write that the game “has no identity mounts.”

What to convert tonight

Convert duplicates first. A second copy of a common is fuel, not a collection. Convert mid-rares you already replaced with a cleaner silhouette. Convert anything you would not screenshot tomorrow. Keep the first copy of a mount whose idle animation or color you actually like, even if the rarity page would call it ordinary.

Do not convert a mount because a script overlay painted it gray. Overlays lie after patches. Open inventory yourself after every farm block.

How to sell without emptying the bag

  1. Redeem live codes and equip the new exclusive.
  2. Sort by newest after a roll window, or by value if you are hunting a key price.
  3. Sell or disenchant in a batch, then stop when the next island key plus one potion is funded.
  4. Leave a buffer. Extra Essence in the bag is safer than a third Fast Scroll you will not use.

If the UI offers both sell and disenchant, use the one that pays Essence for junk. Do not invent a third currency. The potions page explains Stars and scrolls; those are spends, not sell outputs.

Double Essences and why it changes the rule

The Double Essences Game Pass does not make rolls luckier. It makes junk more valuable. If you already produce a lot of convertables, the pass pays. If you barely roll, it does not. Rank it against +200 and +420 on the Game Pass page before you spend Robux to fix a habit you have not formed.

Quests beat panic selling

Repeatable quests refill Essence while you walk a map. Panic-selling a rare after a dry streak is usually a mood, not a plan. Walk the board, then convert. The how to play loop is batch-based for this reason.

Guides Hub if tonight’s job is Luck or Magma instead of the shop. Exclusive mounts if you are about to sell a code ride because it “looks old.” Islands if the Essence is for a key you have not named yet. Sell with a destination. Selling into a void is how the bag stays empty and the catalog stays ugly.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Should I sell exclusive code mounts?

No. Equip them. They skip the roll table and are the cheapest identity mounts on the account.

Is selling the same as disenchanting?

Both convert a mount you will not ride into shop fuel. Use whichever control currently pays Essence on junk.

When do I stop selling?

When the next key plus one potion is funded. Extra Essence can wait.

Can a script sell my favorite?

Yes, if the filter is sloppy. Equip the keeper and read the auto farm warning before you enable Auto Disenchant.
