MOUNT RNG Tier List
Rank the catalog by identity and usefulness, not by a single mythical best mount.
A honest MOUNT RNG tier list is a keep-versus-sell document. The catalog is already past 700 mounts as of Update 50. Nobody needs a 700-row table that will be wrong after the next two-week patch. This hub ranks jobs: what you showcase, what you ride on a new island, and what you convert into Essence. Child pages cover exclusive mounts, rarity and odds, and Game Pass value. The Mounts Hub is the database voice; this page is the argument.
S — identity and secrets
Put Azatoth, Yoru-class ultra-rares, and code exclusives you actually like looking at in S. Azatoth is a secret-island trophy — see how to get Azatoth. Yoru is a roll-table myth with public showcases in the one-in-billions range. Code exclusives (Johnny Joestar, Battle Bus, Uma Musume horses, the floating cube) cannot be rebuilt from commons. If you would screenshot it, it is S for your account even if a stranger would sell it.
A — island-defining rares
A-tier is the first copy of a rare silhouette you rolled on a new island. Dragons, high-aura beasts, and anything that makes Celestial Peak or Frozen Reach feel finished. Keep the first. Convert the second. When a better silhouette lands, the old A can drop to B without drama. The island map is why this tier moves: a Paradise standout can look ordinary after Peak.
B — useful but not sacred
B-tier mounts are fun rides and decent flexes that you would not restart an account to recover. Keep one if inventory is cheap. Sell when you need a key or a potion window. This is the tier farm scripts should be allowed to touch once you have set a value floor.
C — fuel
Commons, near-duplicate uncommons, and anything you already replaced. Convert on a timer using how to farm Essence. C-tier is not an insult. It is the shop. Accounts that refuse to sell C never see Magma Lair.
How to use the list in a session
- Redeem codes and equip the exclusive if it is S for you.
- Roll a batch with Luck stacked.
- Sort the batch into S/A keepers and B/C fuel before you open shop.
- Buy the next island before you buy a third potion.
- Remake A and B after each badge. Do not keep a starter A forever out of nostalgia if it blocks a key.
What this list will not do
It will not publish fake drop percentages for every named dragon. Public videos show individual odds as flavor (Quar Thryxal, Yoru). Those clips are proof the models exist, not a complete probability table. When TaleSun posts rates, we will add them. Until then, rank by replaceability.
It will not tell you that Game Passes are mounts. They are account modifiers and live on their own page. A +420 luck pass can be S-tier for a grinder and D-tier for someone who plays twenty minutes a week.

If you came here from a search for “best mount,” pick an S you already own and go walk Celestial Peak. The best mount is the one that makes the next island worth loading.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the best mount in MOUNT RNG?
The one you would screenshot. Azatoth and Yoru-class rares sit at the top for most accounts, but exclusives you like beat a trophy you hide.
Should I sell rares?
Sell duplicates. Keep the first copy of a silhouette you enjoy. Convert C-tier on a schedule.
Will this list stay valid after the next update?
The jobs stay valid. Named rows will move when Update 51 adds a new exclusive or island.
Where do Game Passes fit?
On the Game Pass value page. They change Luck and Essence, not your showcase model.
