MOUNT RNG Potions, Stars, and Fast Scrolls
Timed shop tools that rent odds and speed — not a replacement for islands.
The shop sells time. Luck Potion, Refined Luck Potion, and Ultra Luck Potion rent a better roll table. Stars are a burst item farm menus treat as their own row. Fast Scrolls shorten the wait between rolls so a bottle expires with more attempts inside it. None of these unlock islands. None of them grant Azatoth. Buy them after free Luck is on and after the next key is funded. How to farm Essence is the wallet page; this is the menu.
Luck Potion, Refined, Ultra
Think of the three bottles as session lengths. The base Luck Potion is for a short sit. Refined is the default if you will stay through a video or a homework break. Ultra is for a planned window with friends already in the twelve-player server. Opening Ultra while solo and half-afk is how Essence disappears.
Exact durations and multipliers move with patches. We will not invent +37% for twelve minutes. Open the shop, read the current tooltip, and match it to the minutes you have. The Luck calculator adds friend and pass layers beside whatever the bottle says tonight.
Stacking: bottles sit on top of friends, the +20 group bundle, and the +200 / +420 passes. They do not replace those layers. A player who skips the TaleSun group and buys Ultra is paying a luxury tax.
Stars
Stars appear in older code tables as a reward and in farm hubs as an auto-use item. Treat a Star as a burst you fire at the start of a window you already paid for, not as a substitute for a key. If a quest pays Stars, bank them until the next planned roll block. Using a Star while walking Magma Lair is usually a waste unless the lair is somehow rolling — it is not.
Fast Scrolls
Fast Scrolls are speed, not Luck. They matter when a potion clock is running and the roll animation is the bottleneck. They do not matter when you are Essence-poor or when you still need to learn controls on a phone. Buy them in the same checkout as a bottle, or not at all.
Farm scripts expose interval sliders (1–30 seconds) and 1–50x use counts for these items. If you automate, read auto farm so you do not dump fifty Ultras into a server you are about to leave.
Buy order
- Next island key.
- Bottle that matches real sit time.
- Fast Scrolls if the bottle is already in the bag.
- Stars if they are cheap leftover Essence.
Reverse that order and you will own a shiny consumable inventory and no Celestial Peak badge.
When to stay sober
Skip potions on a first visit to a new island. Skip them in Magma Lair. Skip them when you have not redeemed codes yet. Skip them when you are angry. RNG plus tilt plus a bottle is how people write one-star comments on a 95% upvoted experience.
After the window, convert junk, claim quests, and stop. The how to play loop still owns the night. Potions are a chapter, not the book. For value talk that is not a bottle, go back to the Mounts Hub or the tier list.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which potion should I buy?
The one that matches how long you will sit, after free Luck is on and the next key is funded.
Do potions stack with Game Passes?
Yes. Bottles add on top of +200, +420, friends, and the +20 group bundle.
What does a Fast Scroll do?
It speeds roll cycling. It does not raise rarity by itself.
Should I use potions in Magma Lair?
No. The lair is combat and materials. Save bottles for lobby or island roll windows.
