How to Redeem MOUNT RNG Codes

The Settings path, one-code-at-a-time habit, and why valid strings still fail.

How to Redeem Codes

Most failed codes in MOUNT RNG are not expired. They are mistyped, pasted with a space, or entered before the lobby UI finished loading. This page is the click-by-click path for PC and mobile, plus the recovery steps that save a session when the box does nothing. Pair it with the live table on the Codes Hub and the dead list in the expired archive.

MOUNT RNG is already live on Roblox. You do not need a level, a Game Pass, or a friend in the server to redeem. You only need the experience fully loaded and the Settings panel open far enough to see the Redeem code field.

The exact click path

  1. Launch MOUNT RNG on Roblox and wait until your character stands in the lobby. If the HUD is still fading in, wait. The cog can appear before the redeem field is bound.
  2. Click or tap the Settings cog on the left side of the screen. It is a silver gear, not the Roblox escape menu.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of that panel. The redeem field sits under the regular audio and graphics toggles, which is why people miss it on phones.
  4. Tap the text box. Paste one code from the Codes Hub. Do not stack two strings in the same field.
  5. Confirm with the control beside the box. Depending on the current UI build that control is a double arrow or a magnifying glass. Either one submits.
  6. Watch for a success toast. Then open inventory / backpack and equip the mount. Codes that grant Essence or Stars credit immediately; mounts need an equip step before they change your model.

If you prefer not to type, the codes copier copies a single string to the clipboard so the paste is clean.

PC versus mobile differences

On a computer the left cog is easy to hit and the panel is tall enough that the redeem box is one scroll away. On a phone the same panel sits over the joystick. Scroll with a vertical swipe on the panel itself, not on the world, or you will rotate the camera and think Settings closed. Landscape mode makes the field easier to see. If the on-screen keyboard covers the confirm button, dismiss it and tap the arrow after the text is in the box.

Controller users should still open Settings with the on-screen cog. The Roblox console overlay is a different menu and does not contain TaleSun’s redeem field.

Why a “working” code still fails

  • Already claimed. Each code is once per account. An alt can still redeem it.
  • Expired or capped. A string can die between a blog update and your session. Move it to the expired archive mentally and stop retrying.
  • Wrong case. lesson5 is not LESSON5.
  • Hidden character. Copying from a styled thumbnail or a Discord embed can include a zero-width space. Paste into the copier or a plain text field first.
  • Stale server. After a major patch, hop to a new server before you assume the code is dead. Update 50 servers and leftover 1.49 servers do not always share the same redeem table at the same minute.
  • UI not ready. If you opened Settings during the load fade, close it, wait two seconds, and open it again.

A redeem session that sets up the rest of the night

Redeeming is the first action of a good session, not a side quest you remember after potions. Claim the official pair (LESSON5, CORTISOL), then test the community-reported set. Equip the best-looking exclusive. Then stack free Luck: friends in the twelve-player server, like, TaleSun group, and notifications. Only after that should you open the Luck guide and decide whether a potion is worth the Essence.

This order also protects your mood. A failed paste after you already burned Ultra Luck feels like the roll table is broken. A failed paste before you spend anything is just a hop to a new server.

What you receive and where it goes

Most modern MOUNT RNG codes grant a finished exclusive mount. Older waves granted Essence, Stars, Fast Scrolls, or a key. Mounts appear in the mount inventory. Currency and consumables appear in the shop-adjacent inventory. If the toast says success and you see nothing new, sort inventory by newest or restart the experience once. Do not redeem the same code ten times; the second attempt will look like a failure even when the first already paid out.

Exclusive mounts from codes are part of the collection identity that the exclusive mounts page ranks. They are usually keepers for showcase even if their combat or travel stats are average, because you cannot roll a second Battle Bus or JoJo lesson mount from the normal table.

After you redeem

Return to the Codes Hub only when a patch note or Discord ping says a new string exists. Between updates, spend the time on Essence and the next island unlock. Codes are bursts. Islands are the long slope that changes which mounts can appear at all.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where is the redeem box in MOUNT RNG?

Open the Settings cog on the left, then scroll to the bottom of that panel. It is not inside the Roblox escape menu.

Can I redeem several codes at once?

No. Submit one string, wait for the toast, then paste the next. Stacked text almost always fails.

The confirm button does nothing. What now?

Close Settings, wait for the lobby HUD to settle, hop server if you just patched, and paste again with no extra spaces.

Do codes work on mobile?

Yes. Scroll the Settings panel itself, paste from the copier, then tap the arrow after the keyboard closes.
